William Peña, PT MS, CHCC
William graduated from the State University at Buffalo with a baccalaureate degree in physical therapy and continued his education at Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus. He attained a Masters degree in physical therapy with a minor in administration. William received his training at Spaulding Rehabilitation Center in Cambridge, MA, Jupiter Medical Center in Jupiter, FL, and Stuart Memorial Hospital in Stuart, FL. William is an owner of a private practice, continuing patient treatment in a variety of settings. He earned a doctorate in physical therapy (DPT) from the University of St. Augustine. He is also an owner and manager of Atlantic Billing and Coding, LLC and is a certified healthcare compliance consultant.

Carl Petitto, OTR/L, CHCC
Carl graduated from Utica College of Syracuse University with a baccalaureate degree in occupational therapy, health and human services. He received his training at Strong Memorial Medical Center in Rochester, NY and Fletcher Allen Medical Center in Burlington, VT. Carl is an owner of a private practice, continuing patient treatment in a variety of settings. He is also an owner and manager of Atlantic Billing and Coding, LLC and is a certified healthcare compliance consultant. Prior to attending occupational therapy school, Carl served four years of active duty in the United States Navy. While serving in the U.S. Navy full time, he graduated from the Island County Reserve Officer Sheriff Academy, Washington State. While studying the profession of occupational therapy, Carl served in the U.S. Navy Reserve. He then earned a commission in the U.S. Army Reserve as an occupational therapist. After serving thirteen years of combined active duty and reserve Navy and Army service, Carl has been honorably discharged from military service. The Regents of The University of the State of New York appointed Carl to the State Board for Occupational Therapy to serve a five year term beginning April first, two-thousand, eight.

Shannon Sullivan, CPC, CMBS
Shannon is a graduate of Clarkson University with a baccalaureate degree in business management. Shannon manages a physical and occupational therapy group overseeing all claim billing, payment posting, credentialing, and payroll services. Shannon is an owner and manager of Atlantic Billing and Coding, LLC and is a certified medical coder as well as a certified medical billing specialist. To stay current with dynamic insurance trends, Shannon attends various billing and coding conferences. She is also a member of the Medicare Outreach and Education Board and is the local chapter education coordinator for the Northern New York Region.

Michele Bagalonis Michele King, OTR/L
Michele King, a graduate of Russell Sage College in Troy, NY, with a Masters in Occupational Therapy, has joined Adirondack Physical and Occupational Therapy in its Watertown office at 1116 Arsenal St (Ste 501). Michele specializes in hand therapy, which includes advanced upper extremity custom splinting, and in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) for adult CVA (stroke).

Brittany Lyon Brittany Lyon, PT
Massena native, Brittany M. Lyon, PT, MS, has joined Adirondack Physical & Occupational Therapy in its Canton, NY outpatient services office. Ms. Lyon is a 2003 graduate of Clarkson University, with a Bachelor of Science in Bio-Molecular Science. She earned her Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from Clarkson in 2005. Her continuing education certifications include pediatrics and neurological re-education. She returns to Northern New York after a year with Albany Memorial Hospital as a full time Physical Therapist in acute care and outpatient orthopedic. Brittany and her fiancé, Jay DeLisle, plan to live in Massena following their wedding in August.

Mary Ellen Mary Ellen Healey, PTA
Mary Ellen received her Associate Degree in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant from SUNY Canton in 1998. She holds Pilates Mat Certification for Health Professionals and uses the Stott Pilates method. Mary Ellen is also a licensed massage technician for which she received training from the Institute of Health Sciences in San Diego, California in 1998.

Dan Peacock, PTA
Dan received his Associate's Degree in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant from SUNY Canton in 1998. He has continued his education by completing an APTA Clinical instructor credentialing course in April 2001. He also acquired Aquatic Certification from the Aquatic Resource Labs in Jan 2003. Dan was a member of the Academic Advisory board for SUNY Canton's PTA program from 2001 to 2004.
